It's only four pounds off but for those of us getting cold feet about EUIV you can pre-order it for a cheaper price now on Steam and still get all those lovely pre-order bonuses that come with the game. It comes out tomorrow so better step on it if you want to take advantage!

The 10% off thing? Yes - Except it vanished from the special edition a while back (even though it was still labelled with the discount in the description)

Well, it's sort of unrelated, but I was hesitating with the pre-order until today, and by chance I found a newish website I had never seen before called Xanatan.com. They gave me the Standard Edition 25% off with a voucher plus 8 Euro. Ended up paying 21.99 Euro.

I was suspicious at first and contacted their live support to confirm if that was true, but it worked fine. Catch is you have to get their download manager to acquire the Steam keys (you just download it and click a button to see the Steam key). I already activated EU4 on Steam along with the pre-order bonuses, so it looks legit (download pending until tomorrow of course). A good choice if someone is still on the fence.

Yeah, but then you have to set up another online account... I'd rather pay steam another £8 than spend the 10 minutes or so entering my billing address. That, and I know Steam is secure.

Hm, unfortunate. But I would still prefer such a low a price for the game itself. Although the websites obscurity and too good to be true price is a bit suspicious.

Yeah but not every 3rd party re-seller gets pre-order keys - Some of them buy their keys off of the "black market" from countries where the keys are cheaper, and then resell them at a higher profit. Which is also why Valve regularly warns people about certain websites, because they block the keys.

Might Not - Not Won't. It all depends on whether they are a legit business and if they actually promise you the Pre-Order DLC at all.
