Are you allowed to fully disband sectors? And if so, what happens to their mineral and energy stockpile? On the Blorg stream Wiz dumped a lot of resources. I'm hoping you'd get it back.

I don't know, but if you get all the stockpile back there's an immediate exploit there. You could "bank" your mineral and energy stockpile in a sector when you're near your own stockpile limits to accrue a much bigger stockpile than your limit normally allows.

Yep. Don't know about the getting the resources back thing, but it does cost influence to remove systems from a sector, so it's something you'd have to do sparingly in any case.

Notice that you build certain buildings on tiles to increase your mineral and energy cap. While they're sort of floaty, it seems that they're divided among your planets (which have a certain base mineral capacity, plus building capacity added), so the minerals and energy in sectors exist on the planets in those sectors.
