I guess it's nice that we can build habitats and ringworlds and dyson spheres all in the same playthrough, but... I feel like they are less special given we can theoretically do all of them. For the dyson sphere, sentry array, and science nexus in particular, the fact that one perk just lets us build all of them makes them feel a bit less special.

I honestly prefer it that way. It allows me to truly reshape the galaxy and make my empire feel like its a real type 2 civilization on the Kardashev scale. Besides you can always still choose to only build one in a game and have it be special by roleplaying.

Build them all in one game and post an image, I dare you! The odds are stacked against you, and 20 hours into the new expansion, I think it's balanced. Just the prerequisites to even build them are a challenge, yet alone actually constructing one.

But it kind of makes sense whether you feel they're special or not, if you get to the point in the game where you can AFFORD to build them all why wouldn't you be able to? Seems like a pretty decent reward for being an incredibly wealthy empire. : )
