Disappearing leader pictures

So something odd just happened to me.. I installed the 1.3 beta patch and the DAIM, but when I went back to play, all the pictures for my military leaders are gone! They all just show up as the generic black heads. The pictures are still in the gfx folder, but for some reason don't show up.

Any idea what caused this / how to fix it?

In 1.3 Beta there was a change to how the graphics were saved and loaded that is causing your issue.

There is a solution.

Change the file path to where the pictures are located (in your save game) to use the new standard.

There are examples of this in one of the top three sticky threads.

I can't quite find in the sticky threads where it addresses this -- can you link me, or tell me which file I need to open up and edit?

Tritoch42, you really should start a new game when updating to patch 1.3, because many things are changed in that patch that makes save-games from older versions to behave strange at least (intelligence system set in the AI files for example is not compatible with 1.0 / 1.2)
