Title. Change it's weight to 0 or some other blocker so they never do it. Kills the whole point of playing the marriage game when the prime targets are all given a plan B.
I know you get the CB, but that's no compensation, going to war with a nation for a PU isn't worth it. Against minors, outright annexation is better, and against majors, it's too many resources for a glorified and weaker vassal who, due to AI stupidity, is not going to be helpful in wars, cannot be annexed for 1/8th of the game's duration (plus annexation time) and might not even recover their economy ever from the war you started without help (see: AI Russias).
The bugs attached to it would also be a lot more tolerable, if not outright ignorable, if this was an issue exclusive to players.
Minor edit, worth noting this is a stealth change that wasn't mentioned on the patch notes, since the original dev diary said AIs would never do it. Bonus points for being "semi" hardcoded; if I had to guess, it was hardcoded until someone remembered Burgundy exists and added an event modifier for them that blocks it.
