Since I've almost finsihed my current game, I've started to look for another one and I think I will try an arabic country. But the problem is I get no diplomats. When I played a little with the OE, I refused pretty good peaceoffers, just to stay at war so I could get 2 diplomats a year instead of just one. But being constantly at war doesn't seem to be a very good strategy in the long run. So how do you handle the problem? So far I've only played catholic countries so lack of diplomats have never been a problem.

Doeas anyone have a good suggestion for an arabic country beside from the OE?

Where do you use all those diplomats for?

As the OE in the first ~150 years you have monarchs with god DIP rating, if you go aristcratic you should be able to get more than 1 per year at peace. After those 150 years you should have diploannexed most of your sunni neighbours so there's not a pressing need for diplomats to bribe your vassals.

I always go Aristo 10 in my SP games. To increase the speed of the decline of BB points and to increase the number of diplomats you get each year.

If you are at Aristo 10 and have a monarch whose diplo skill at Aristo 5 is 5 (that is an average skilled monarch) then his acutal diplo skill value will be 7. Then you will get 2 diplomats a year from monarch's diplo skill.
