situation: playing England, AGCEEP grand campaign. year is 1456

Leinster(irish 2 prov minor) my vassal.

have alliance with my 3 vassals: Foix (one prov: Bearn) Provence (2 prov) and Leinster.

Aragon owns a core of mine, Guyenne. (France doesnt exist)

Aragon dows, all my allies dishonor. (Leinster is now at -15 relations) I reinvite them all in, they all accept. The war ends in 1569 with me taking Guyenne and Leinster taking Rousillon (i offered peace)

Now i see that my relation with Leinster is at +57, but i know only +10 is due to my re-inviting them into my alliance.

My question: does giving an ally a province in a peace deal you offer increase their relations with you?

Has anyone else noticed this?

IIRC yes it does.

they could've gotten a random event that raised the relations also.

Also allowing an ally to make separate peace while you are alliance leader can boost relations as well.

You cannot make a separate peace on your ally's behalf. You can only make a separate peace for yourself.

If you let your ally complete many sieges they will soon make separate peace. You can cover all enemy provinces. But the AI will only siege one to three provinces at a time. When an ally arrives where you have a siege or cover force, move all your troops. You can set them back down again if you want, so long as you do not have a leader there.

It is best to get some sieges into the negative range so the sieges complete faster when your ally arrives. Once a siege is well in the negative (like -3 or -4), just leave a cover force there and some troops nearby in case of unprovoked rebellions. Avoid government collapse.

If your ally gets a 100% war score or any good war score especially when he has a core province involved, he is sure to make a separate peace within a couple of years. After sieges complete for your ally be sure to leave cover forces there, because you want to prevent enemy troop building when your ally makes separate peace.
