Can I make countires my puppet, and if so how? And what benefits does stage a coup have?

to make a puppet, ya have to have 60% of the countries keypoints, and then you can puppet them in the diplomacy screen.

Coups, if succesful, radically change the countrie's alignment to look like yours. if they fail, they move much away from you
