This something that people often mentioned: shouldn´t there be the plot screen be used for other actions besides intrigue plots.

Some diplomacy actions would be much more immersive and political, if made through the plot screen. Here are some examples:

1) Fabricate Claim: Fabricate claim should be a plot that have better chance to work according to the diplomacy level of people involved. Perhaps it would only work if local baronies, mayors or bishoprics join the plot or members of that dynasty, among others special requisites.

Here you could choose if you want to fabricate on count, duchy, kingdom title. Being harder the greater the title is.

2) Improve relations: You should be able to choose who you improve relations with via plot screen. The odds increase based on diplomacy of the characters involved and the opinion the liege has on the people participating. So you could approach a the king´s friend and have him introduce you to the king.

3) Spread vicious rumors: you got the idea. Approach the people who will spread the rumors. The stronger the plot power, better the effects.

Why this system is better? The "Click this button to fabricate claim" is actually a bit anti immersive and belongs to games like EU IV. Also, these sort of things would make the game more political, where you should work to make some people like you to achieve your goals. The more role play, the better!

I agree on the general principles, but the details are a bit fuzzy.

Currently you can have one "intrigue" plot + 1 job per councilor. How would you balance your new system to be able to have a reasonable number of plots in parallel without being able to abuse the system? (For instance, by fabricating county-claims on all counties of a Duchy at once.)
