Diplomacy plays "out of the box" on Windows 7

I'm happy to report that Diplomacy plays straight away, no problems whatsoever, with sound, middle-mouse button working as well, on Windows 7 Premium Edition, 32-bit, on 27th February, 2012.

Cheers. Not many games from 2005 can say that!

This game does not seem to be available on Steam.

Is there any way to get a copy or is it just 'too old' now?

It is only possible to buy on disc, either as forgotten overstock, or as used.

The license for the game has reverted, so no new copies can be made or sold (and Steam/DD counts as making new copies)
