I've been trying to play a grand campaign with the turks, but 1/2 the time when i go into the diplomacy screen the game crashes, leaving me looking at my windows screen. I meet all the required and reccommended requirements, and would really like to keep playing. Is this mistake going to be fixed on this 'patch' we keep waiting for, or is there some way around it or to fix it?

Do you right-click in the diplomacy screen. That's a well known bug in the american version. Should be fixed in patch 1.08.
Try right-clicking a province belonging to the country you want to deal with and select Send Diplomat.

Its not just the American version. The version I have is UK and it does exactly the same, although ive only tried the grand campaign, ive download the updated grand campaign and am going to see if that works.. This isnt a minor bug its a huge one and should of spoted a long time ago. Its one thing being ABLE to click onto a province indepently but in the grand campaign its a pain to say the least.

I didn't know about that function until everyone started yelling about this bug... I always clicked on the country directly... But that bug was not there in the German or Swedish version so that explains why it wasn't found before the launch of the english ones...
