When I play France and want to appease possible members of a coalition, especially in the HRE, the "target outraged countries" is not useful. I have to check the possible members of coalition in the truce UI and then manually send my diplomats there, repeat 10x. I endep up having to babysit my diplomats and barely using the diplo macrobuilder. Or do I miss something ?

Can we have more tools to target a specific region, religion for our diplomats etc... and possible members of a coalition ?

I distinctly recall the auto-improve relations function for coalition management being actually functional and good in the past. At some point along the way between implementation and today it's become basically useless, which is weird to me.

It was still worse than manual micromanagement because it would improve with nations that couldn't go positive even at +100.

However, it used to be functional, in that it would cap out nations at + 100 rather than improving to a value where making a peace deal still gives a coalition. For some reason, people have actually argued that the present functionality is better. Which is like saying deleting the feature would have been better.

I thought it was weird that I can't sort by regions & assign diplomats that way; If I trust them to generic 'improve relations', they always end up two months away somewhere irrelevant. Why does Austria need diplomats in Borneo with no colonies ?!

Yeah Emperor broke the target outraged countries function completely. It's been bug reported and ignored, as far as I know.
Oh well who expects paid features to actually remain functional?
