I have a doubt about Diplomacy during warfare.

Example 1:
I'm Brandeburg. Austria is HRE.
I DOW on Thuringia, Austria enter War against me.
After a bit, we go to White peace. The 5 Years truce starts.
After 6 months I DOW on Pomerania.
How much the Emperor will be willing to break truce and intervene? Will this eventually cause stab hit if Austria come in, and viceversa will this cause Authority loss on Missing defence of an empire state?

Example 2:
I'm Venice. Austria is HRE.
Milan DOW on Switzerland. Austria defends and goes in War vs Milan.
I DOW vs Milan.
Is correct to say Austria cannot defend Milan since they are at War?

Thank you all and have an happy New year.

the emperor does not protect HRE states from internal threats. they were most likely allied to thuringia, or since the start out in a PU i believe were allied to their overlord Saxony (who is an elector and therefore likely to be allied to the emperor).

If the emperor has a truce with you, he will not defend the empire against you as far as i'm aware.
