Dip. Annex

Is it possible to Dip.Annex a country that you forced to become a Vassal in a peace treaty.
As Castile I Forced Mantua into Vassalage, thirty years later my Dip rate was +200 and the option to offer annex is greyed out.
Any Ideas?

Are you sure about having to be in the same alliance.
I have never heard that part before.

Boy it sure is frustrating when a basic action is not documented correctly, when even experianced players do not know for sure what is needed for basic diplomacy, the roll over help is no help.

The original reason i started this thread was because I met all the requirements listed on the roll over text for annex, but the option was still greyed out. I figure it is probably the contiguous(sp) land thing.
