I know this isnt really important, but i love seeing all the new outfits, hairstyles, beards and cant help but think there should be a few scar types for the scarred trait.

Having 3-5 different scar types in a rotation would help quite a lot for the scarred trait, everyone having the exact same scars is a bit much. You could even make 1 or 2 from the existing one. it has 3 scars, simply have the one with 3 scars as one, have another with only the cheek scar and a third with only the eye scar. (the lower scar gets covered by most beards so didnt include it.)

I'd love to see a scar that visibly distort the the face, such as from cheek across the eyebrow. across eye (could be two versions, one that doesnt affect eye and one that blinds you -and you can choose to use eyepatch or not)

A scar that start on the upper lip to cheek & distort the lip.

Or take inspirationg from dueling scars. certain African tribes should also have ritual scarring as traditions or something when that time comes.

Mensur Scars-Dueling Scar

Perhaps some cultures** who view blademasters highly should also view scars in higher esteem?

I suggested something like this back when the game was still coming out. CK2 spoiled us when it came to scars, eventually, with the ranked system.

My suggestion was to have several different scar appearances and levels of the scar trait. Each time the character gains a scar, the trait goes up and they get another random scar added on. With the new tiered trait system coming with the new update, this seems even more possible then ever! Another suggestion I had made was if the character gets disfigured they get all the scars and just look like a horrible mess. Heavily scarred or disfigured characters would get an decision to wear or remove a mask. Over time, more scars could get added, from cuts to burns to whatever else the devs could think of. So totally giving this a check mark!

This is a great idea! I really like everything about that.

I would also like to be able to choose different masks for disfigured characters. A mask that only covers half of the face or just the top part of the face. And more designs of masks.

I just wish that disfigured characters didnt have the kingdom of heaven mask in 867

It would add a bit more realism...

On the other hand, some scars might not be visible on the portrait at all since they're covered by clothing...
