Different patch versions

Hello. When I go online I can see that I have version 1.4.1.0 (786b) while most of the other users have 1.4.1.0 (ea04). That means I can't join any game because I have a different version of the game.

How can I upgrade to ea04? I have steam running on automatically update but somehow it must be broken?

if you are not using any MODS (most of them change the checksum), try to "repair" your installation. steam-> rightclick in the game -> options -> local files.

Sometimes EU4 gets messed up and you cant verify local cashe thingy no matter what.

If you keep getting wrong checksum youll have to delete the game and redownload it again.
