Difference between tanks /nations

Hi!
I dont know if they have talked about it but will for example german light tanks year 1940 have same stats as the british equuivalent? Anither example is will the tiger have a more powerfull gun then churchill tank or how will this work?

There is no difference between equipment technology except names.

Companys and Variants can make a difference.
So the tank of the 1940 tech is the same for all nations.
But if germany uses ( for example ) Porsche as company and invest some military exp. into it, the stats can become much better compared to the english version.

Doctrines also effect stats, but you can always change your doctrine.

Incidentally, the first Tiger I taken out by the western allies was taken out by a Churchill.
