didn't recieve Provinz in Peace deal- Bug?

playing as china, I realized, i was at war with Cleves and Roma and signed a peacetreaty with the leader Cleves to recieve three roman provinces. they said yes, since i occpied enough territory and i signed the peace, but didnt get the provinces. i am playing in ironman mode so i can not reload and sign a seperate peace first with roma. is this a bug?

it happend before and i thougt at first, i missclicked, and didnt wonder much about it. but this time i was sure to press the right buttons. what made me a little bit of a thinking was, that, when i first tried to make a seperate peace with roma, they would not accept my offer, so i tried making the peace with the warleader, which i dominated at 100 percent, surely they would accept giving me land from their ally...

Its a known bug that if you make them tributary and ask for provinces in same deal you dont get the provinces. Assume you requested tributary also right?

oh thank you. that helped to understand, but ruined my late game. it was the year 1740 and a big big war, where i gained nothing but like the 55th tributestate, but i wanted some land in Italy.... nooooo
