Didn't like graphic changes in 1.02 BETA

hi, firstly I want to thank you devs for new beta patch. I am trying it now to see new changes. But when I first start a new game, the first thing I realized is minor graphic changes in the interface. In my opinion, old graphics look much better. The new ones seemed quite rough to me. In addition,now it is harder to see minimap due to black lines. I also wonder opinions of other people. May be, afterall I am just old-minded conservative

I agree that old war better. I also think that the traditional pointer arrow of the game was easier to manage. Now, every time I load a new game patch, I have to hunt thru an old HOI2 game to find the arrow pointer to replace the new one with too.

Where exactly are the new pics found that are in the first post of this thread so that I can change them back?

Haven't tried 1.02 yet, but from what's shown here the old style is way better.

I don't really understand why they would invest time in fixing something that ain't broken when there are enough construction sites left that seriously require work.

I think graphics is being done by a separate non-dev group (modders?). Feel free to propose a replacement yourself.

The old looks much better. Why are they wasting time on this??? There are important things to fix. Like WWI. It just seems like a waste of resources to focus on something like this for minimal gains. (or in this case to go backwards).

old style was better than the new one.

A+ Not that the new are bad but the old once are somewhat smother.
I say some of the minister and leader pictures in DH has been to much grey and have lost quality.
