Did you know? Regional transportation actually have places to go outside your city.

This was really awesome.

Try using First Person Camera mod and link to a regional train or an airplane, follow it outside your region and see what happens :D

Trains and Airplanes (I didn't tried with a boat, but can be the same) at one point in the blueness (when you start moving very far from your region the scenery became almost blue-ish) you'll find that a train will reach a "ghost" station, an airplane will land at a "ghost" airport and, eventually, if they don't despawn, they will depart to go back to your city.

I have taken a video of a full trip of one airplane starting at my airport, landing somewhere in the blue and then going backi to my airport. But the same happens with regional trains (cargo or passengers are the same).

This behaviour is also the main cause of the trains piling up at borders: given the trains don't despawn fast but stops at a "ghost" town, at one point they will fill the entire railway.

Try the ride with that mod, you also have a chance to see the map well outside your region. :)

LOL, do you think there is only your way to have fun?

I'm having fun with this game and it's all that matters for me.
I don't judge your playstyle, so don't judge mine.

Your argument doesn't make sense. You are arguing against having more content as a 'playstyle'. That's nonsensical, not a playstyle.

Thanks @Gilga I hadn't seen the ghost stations before... nice find. Like how they even have their own names.

More content is not the same as more quality content or a better game in the end. "Close to vanilla" is as good of a playstyle as pilling as much stuff in the base game as possible. To each his own. I use zero mods on my game still, and i prefer to add assets. Doesn't make it a worst experience, just a different one from those who mod heavily. And being honest, it's a decision that leaves me with a lot less chances of the game crashing (even though I have other parts that may be broken, decisions, decisions).
