So I just crushed my second crusade. Italy and Germany have been reduced to rubble. France is on the verge of annihilation and Iberia has succumb to the Muslims. Catholicism is one invasion away from Brexiting Europe yet they still have 100 authority. What do you have to do to get these people to start questioning the Wizard in Rome?

How do you check the converts of a religion you're not apart of?

when you scroll over the faiths MA in the religions tab you can see successful conversions as a modifier to it,

If you're not in Ironman, use charinfo to find the id of a landed Catholic ruler and use play [character_id] to switch to them and check their religion tab to find out why their moral authority is what it is.

I think it may be because of the Become Paragorn of Virtue ambition. When fulfilled 1 point is given to moral authority. In one of my games catholicism had +92% only due to Become paragorn ambition. A lot of people in Europe take it and they increase the religious authority of catholicism

Funny, I thought this patch really tilted religious authority. I had a game where Catholicism sat at 100% despite an Anti-Pope and two failed crusades while Sunni plummeted to 0% Apparently, Catholicism was getting 66% alone from rulers completing the 'Paragon of Virtue' ambition.

If Paragon of Virtue grants +1 authority then razing Christian holdings should give -1.
