OK. I created a custom nation centered around Yedisan. I named my ruler with the surname Rurikovich.
During the game, I allied Muscovy and royal married them. At a prestige about 35 I was tempted to disinherit my 0/0/0/ heir... which caused Muscovy to claim my throne.
"It won't matter, since my ruler is still quite young and there's plenty of time for him to produce another heir." I thought, and proceed playing.
Well, then I found that I qualified for converting my feudal monarchy into a Russian principality for free. Why not? I think. I then clicked on it.
Then I ... somehow became under PU under Muscovy. My old ruler who was a general is still a general, but he's no longer the prince. I was installed the Muscovy prince instead...
Is it a special mechanic added in 1.22, or some dark corner of the PU mechanic that I don't know, or a bug?
