Did anyone Pre order Together for Victory?

Whats the point of pre-ordering? Do you get something special?

No but I want to play it right after Release without bothering to spend money
you have to spend money anyways, why don't you just wait until it's released?

I bought the expansion pass and I'm glad I did. So far I am happy with the expansion that is coming out.

Expansion Pass for me. I like what I see. But in all I would wait anyway. Plus Steam Christmas Sale coming soon. It might be put up for sale during that time. But I doubt that.
prol not. At least I cannot ever recall a Pdx product discounted in the first quarter after release.

Expansion pass for me as well (which worked out quite well as December has other calls on my finances, although I would almost definitely still have found the money and pre-ordered anyway ).
I usually pre-order PDS content, but I literally haven't been disappointed with a Paradox expansion yet and want to support the devs as I've got more entertainment and other benefits from Paradox games than I have any other developer (by some margin). However, everyone's experience differs and one should only ever pre-order if they understand what it means and that's what they want to do (which is signalling demand and supporting the devs). There's very little immediate individual benefit to anyone from pre-ordering, particularly with expansions (unlike the games themselves, they don't have pre-order bonuses), and if you're not sure about the content, waiting until you can read some reviews (or play an MP game with a host that has the DLC, so you can give it a shake yourself and see what you think) is probably the safest option unless you've got a lot of disposable income so can afford to buy things that may or may not be for you.
Just for context for the thread, it's worth keeping in mind that pre-ordering expansions isn't some evil scheme by Paradox, it was apparently (I read a PDS post on this somewhere a little while ago) introduced in response to requests by fans.

well the old preorder / expansion pass has a discount built-in, sort of. It's just you dont know what you get yet , but if you're quite sure you'd get them anyway ...

ever since watching the infos/streams/dd's for hoi4 i wanted to play, so bad.. searched for hoi3 watched alot of it on youtube, then grabbed the whole game with all the dlc's ..enjoyed over 930 hrs in it before hoi4 released (guess about 6months) - I liked it quite a bit dispite its faults (even had to 'fix' the game before it would run without huge hungarians iirc and black tanks) , enjoyed it so much i preordered hoi4 with pass just because i wanted to support this game and company already thought my hoi3 game was 'a steal' in terms of cost vs enjoyment hrs. And expected hoi4 to get me that or even more , for sure.atm i have about 20 hrs to go to beat my hoi3 record, so it was not a bad choice at all.. and still 3 dlc's to come that are already payed for.
I dare state now that this game will have listed 3000 hrs in my steam before the end of 2017.
so im quite sure i would buy the pass again if i had to choose right now
