Oh, you most glorious nation on earth!
No coffee is as good as yours!
No soldiers so brave as those fighting for you!
No peanuts as numerous!
And no Presidentes so handsome!

All who stand before you (or sneakily stab you in the back)
are easily crushed by the might of El Presidente!
ECUADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!

We'll get 'em brazilians next time!

Is our army using Claws or Jominian theory?

I actually have no idea :p

Oh, and Peru is notorious for their strength. I warn you it was a great stroke of luck that onyl two divisions managed to subdue that Empire. It's because of the revolts they try to impede as the Bolivians want to be freed.... If we want to fight them it must be immediately, without even awaiting the end of the truce! Our BB is now like 33.someting so that won't bother us anyways: We have no borders with england or any other big civilised countries... the only BBwars we'll get will be beneficial to us (like was the case with brazil+peru :p)

Sorry about the delay, a lot hapenning lately, am actually exhausted and havent updated my espera mumdi aar for a week ! :'(

P.S. Olifranc, I expect you'd rather stay with the venezuelans instead of going back to the army, no? I mean it would be unfair to give you two lives...? I didn't kill you like the screenie says, because I need you in the cabinet :D, I'm not about to lose a Minister of Propa....EDUCATION :D

No prob Bob, I 'll stay out of the army if you say so ... and will deal with propaducation ! the pen is stronger than the sword ! Venezuelian girls are hotter than hairy peruvians ! (sorry peruvian readers, I didn't mean to offend any of you, it is just an AAR's silly joke)

Oh no Rocketman is banned? I hope this is but temorary! I wouldn't want to be deprived of reading his AARs...

This session (1848-1853) is the strangest ever, and can count as the last because Ecuador has grown as Gordito Delgado hoped it would. BBlevel is at 60 and money is no longer a problem. But the main reason is because ECUADOR HAS BECOMe A GREAT POWER, which was the ultimate aim of the AAR.

However, if you really see a purpose for continuing this AAR and beg enough I'll drag on to WCing or some other, more realistic target :D

Ecuador, 1848-1853

The era begins slowly with most importantly the cutting of debts, which were seriously threatening the economy. Repaying these debts was a priority until someone came up and said "Hey! Why don't we go bully some hairy peruvians?" And so they did. The war was short and soon ended (and notice Brazil had tried to protect Peru, and in doing so soon lost Olivenca!!!).

A few years later the same hapenned to Colombia, who had already shrunk miserably in its previous wars with us the coolest country on the Equator! And so they soon fell too, leaving only their capital Bogota as a free patch of mud.

But by that time Ecuador was so cool that Bogota would be a useless stain to capture. Immigrants still came and went at the same fickle rate, but the debt was half paid off thanks to Colombian war indemnities. Soon Ecuador would be cool financially too!

To such a point, even, that by 6 September 1852 Ecuador was TEH C8LEST NATION EVA IN LATIN AMEREKAAAH!!!!111111oneoneoneone

4.jpg

But that news was the worst the country could expect: El Presidente Rocketman had a huge party to celebrate, in which someone decided it would be cool to play William Tell with grapeshot cannons... Ecuador lost its three best generals that fateful night, but they died in all glory amongst wine and venezuelan beauties, <Muah!>. (Actually at the beginning I wasn't sure how random to make the dates, and by now I hadn't remembered it, so the temporary deathdate I had used actually stuck (I'd done copypaste on Flores' stats with these leaders...).)

Now existed a Great Ecuador, rival to Brazil herself! From 7th to 6th kewlest nation on earth, an odd but fun-to-suffer AAR drew to a close as the Sun floated down between the Andean mountains for a New Year.

...Then erupted Mount Cotopaxi :D

Well it was great to play and thanks to all who contributed! And as a final nostalgic screenie, here's the nightmare Rocketman suffered during the eruption of the Cotopaxi: A democratic and social Ecuador with no money problems!

Thank you and Good night :)

Hello people. I have not read this AAR as of now, but I've been told that this a fun AAR. In the ACA, there is a slihgt lack of votes in the Vicky Comedy AAR category. Two more votes, and this one would take home the price. As I see it this one would we quite worthy. The competitors is AARs that bardly got off the ground, and whcih's activily of Q1 is a lone update, while this one has all of it's 5 pages form the time period. So go here, and cast this vote:

Favorite Comedy AAR, Vicky: Dictatorship & Co.

Thank you
