What's the deal with dice rolls? Are they intentionally skewed somehow? The AI in my games always consistently rolls 6-7-8-9's on their rolls, while I'm lucky to get anything above a 4. Consequently, my armies easily get trashed by equal size or smaller enemy (AI) armies. I realize that terrain modifiers affect the outcome, but mind you the supposedly random "dice roll" itself is rolling 6+'s... from what I can ascertain from similar questions posted on other forums, the dice generator is random, representing "luck". Now, with the AI consistently scoring higher than a player, I feel that something else is at play here, either with how the random number generator was coded, or something else influencing it. For the record, after I get bored after a while, I turn on cheats. Could the AI's high rolls be a "penalty" for using cheats? And why would the developer penalize someone for that? My late game becomes completely unplayable due to this. Whether it be a "bug" or a "feature".
