So many of us here now how to mod and others do not, but some of those who do not know how to mod in DH may have great ideas for mods. But anyways this gave me the idea of a DH Scenario editor. Something to where I can simply change borders and create events with the click of a button without having to do the coding myself, or at least most of it. I'm pretty sure this doesn't exist but if it does, well that's cool. But if it doesn't what would be the possibility of us ever seeing one? I personally think this would be great thing, allowing more mods to be created without major flaws, and to let the ideas of others be made into a reality. I'm sure this wouldn't be easy, but I'm sure it would be beneficial. So ya what are your guys thoughts and opinions on this subject? Do you think its a good idea or a bad idea?

Basic modding such as tech, unit stats, events, names and scenario files is actually quite simple if you look for the resources that are already available plus the forums are always willing to help people who are stuck.

Instead of having some kind of modding package its best to just be organized and create your own templates for scripts, pictures and ID system which speeds things up a lot

i suggested this a while back but the devs didn't reply.. that's probably because to make such a programme would be quite complicated. The HoI DD/ARMA editor would function well for new modders, i used it a while back to self teach myself about some nodding concepts and allowed easy changing of TTs, Ministers, Leader's and scenario files. That would require converting which i'm not sure is possible so we must wait until a a wise dev tells us what is possible and what is not....
