Hi. I got my version of DH right when it released, on Stardock's Impulse platform. The platform later got sold to GameStop, and later discontinued altogether, which resulted in loss of access for users to their bought games.

Fortunately, I always try to backup my titles in any way I can, and so I had a zipped DH directory backed up. Recently, I needed to restore it for the first time. Unfortunately, there's still a version number from my previous version (1.05.1) lingering somewhere, and so I cannot install patch 1.05 over it. The real version, as reported from Darkest Hour.exe, is 1.04 and my backup was made at 24 April 2017.

Is there a way for me to cleanup all leftovers from previous installation, so that new one will presumably work correctly? I'm 100% sure there are no files left in game directory (that's why I needed to restore it in the first place, haha!), but possibly some data is held up in Windows registry.
