DH 1.05.1 (steam version) on win 10 : "error opening file" and DH full not loading

So, i install the game after a long pause. On my new laptop. When I try to open it, i got an error with this very descriptive text "error opening file". Nonetheless i click on OK and the game loads normally, except for the DH full part. What should I do?

I precise i have set it in Win 7 compatibility mode.

Uhmmm... I don't recall that kind of error. Can you post a screenshot or more information on the error message?

I've maanged to find a solution (sort of) but it's really strange.
I have two DD's. When i Install DH on my main one (which has windows in it) it works smoothly. The error occurs when I install it on my secondary DD.
