Devs, I think yuo missed something?

I don't know if i should report this to the bug thread or not but here it goes : on my second play-through has Portugal I thought i would give the War of the Castilian Succession a try , only to discover it's not there from 1475 to 1479 there is supposed to be a secession war between Portugal and castile, which doesn't appear is this a bug or something the devs forgot (like the revolutionary empires) ?

Well i think it should be in the game, it allows (in the long run) for a player starting with Portugal to focus on the new world rather then the Old one (with all of Spain's good event's and missions and Portuguese national ideas)

If you ally and marry Castile and refrain from completely blocking them from various areas (let them sneak one colony on a caribbean island, in north america, etc.) they will almost never swap from anything but 'friendly'. Portugal can completely focus on overseas development.

Of course, you could always turn the tables, ally with France, guarantee Granada, and conquer Iberia for yourself, while still colonizing.

Is this really true? I go through the various map dates all the time and I see all kinds of wars between bookmarks.

I just checked, and there is definitely a war of Castilian succession in the game between 1475 and 1479, so I suggest you try again

I checked it before posting, didn't exist, i checked now it's right there,well i guess i might have been playing EU4 a bit too much(by this rate it was always possible to become revolutionary empires and i just went mad), though on a second fought thEre should be a especial decision, for Portugal to form Spain (e.i not needing Aragon's Provinces)
