Still working on the coats of arms for the different pony kingdoms. But here's a screenshot of the in-development version.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to change the 'no spouse' silhouettes from human to pony? I wouldn't be surprised if it was not possible, and I'm sure you have more important stuff to focus on, but I thought I'd ask.

Yep!

Any part of the GUI that you can see is moddable -- we could probably in some point in time convert the piety/religion icons from the christian cross into a more suiting icon.

Any news on the best of all species, the griffons?

I'm working hard on them. Unfortunately I'm the only one working on them and I can't mod during the week. But I will get them at least playable when the mod is first released and I will try to get more flavour as the mod goes on.

It is likely more of us will be dedicated to the other species (Including gryphons) once we get the ponies done.

Pretty much this. Once we get something of a core region settled, then we'll move on to another area. I'm hesitant to say for certain the Gryphons will be next, but they are high on our to-do list.

(Yes I'm still alive I'm a horrible horrible OP)

On the topic of griffons, could I make a humble request that you spell it, well, "griffons"? Obviously there are several accepted spellings of the word in regards to the wider category of mythological creatures, but for referring specifically to the MLP version, g-r-i-f-f-o-n is the canonical spelling (Gilda's episode title). Not a big deal, but it's a pet peeve of mine when people use the wrong one.

Hi, I'm HeshieokFasla, chief historical administrative agent for the mod and newest team member. Fear not, the Griffons will be spelled correctly in game; some of the staff just prefer Gryphon and Griffin. I will do my best to ensure Canon spellings are always used.

Just curious, how would you be representing the Lunar-Celestian split?
Would it be an event chain determining who wins, or maybe each direct vassal gets a choice on who they support and it goes civil war-esque?

Shadow Imperium,

We haven't agreed on all of the specifics, but we're leaning towards a civil war split with plenty of events leading up to it. As stated earlier, we want to avoid the canon history being the only possible event chains. So, while not everything is worked out, we hope to have several different outcomes from this point.

With the ruler designer dlc, could you just straight up make your pony an alicorn if you wanted to, or is it more complex then that? Are there going to be events that represent how an alicorn (designed or created during play) would deal with Celestia/Luna/Discord when they show up?

looking back there is a chain yes. but Celestia spawns as Celestian faith while Luna spawns as Lunar faith. What if Luna converts at somepoint to Celestian? that would be weird...

To become an alicorn in game will be a major process that isn't created yet :p. However since the race is linked to culture and trait that will be in the ruler designer, it will be possible to play as an alicorn. It wont beef up your stats super high (for the princesses their base stat is being beefed), but it could be fun. So yes, alicorns are available in ruler designer (Just not now)

Just to be sure, you've removed the culture conversion education event, right?
Race is based on trait, culture is based on education. Take Spike for example, he was raised by ponies so he would have the pony culture. However he is still a dragon so he would have the dragon race trait.

Ah, ok. I got nervous, as in your earlier post, you said that race was linked to both culture and traits.

Would I be correct in assuming you'll also have "Descended From X" traits, so races can skip generations?
