Hej there,

so, I recently overran a just awakened xenophobe fallen empire (before they could get their stuff going). Surprisingly, it only had around 200K fleet strength total, which was quite beatable using my own 60K strength and around 40K from vasalls and federation allies. I was using heavy kinetic loadouts, and made effective use of my loyal vasall meatshields to engage them in short range fights.

I think I know why their fleet strentgh was so low. You see, one of their systems, with a world, has the stellarite devourer in it. I was thinking, well, 60K should be plenty, especially with the extra damage from curators, so lets attack it.
The devourer wiped my entire fleet without as much as a scratch. I think it may have wiped a fallen empire doomstack too, which would explain why the FE was so weak.

Is it completel immune to kinetic weapons or something? I was using repedetdly upgraded Giga Cannons, kinetic artillery, advanced fighters (which help against the torps) and flak artillery.

The FE was an isolationist, and they seem to use fair amount of kinetics.

I mean, 200K fleet strength for an awakened FE is incredibely low (initially doomstack was just a bit over 100K, then they had a bunch of Titans running around individually). Is it possible for the Stellar devourer to quickly wreck leviathans or titans? It seems to be pretty good against capital ships.

Stellarite Devourer is the strongest of Leviathans, but it shouldn't be strong enough to seriously hurt, much less wipe out, an Awakened Empire's doomstack.

From my own experience with it, ~240k fleet with 3-5 levels of repeatables can beat it minimal loses. AFE shouldn't have any problems with it. Perhaps something else has destroyed their fleets?

Heck, my standard operating procedure for fighting a fallen empire when I wasn't ready for them is to drag their fleets off to fight Leviathans. I've seen a roughly 100k fallen (and I'm being precise - not awakened) empire fleet take on the Enigmatic Fortress, then have enough to coincidentally mop up the Stellarite on their way home. They got hurt, sure, but they were still strong enough to paste me in a straight-up fight. All it did was buy me time.

Couldn't kite them to the Stellarite deliberately, mind you - it kills the S. S. NeenerNeener too quickly for the pursuing fleet to bother entering the system. But it was nice getting Sanctuary cleared without my own fleet suffering.

I went at it again. With a 60K fleet including some mothballed fallen empire ships, using high tier plasma/disruptor weaponry. I do absolutly no damage. Is the devourer perhaps bugged out and invulnerable while orbiting a planet?

AH ok, I had a mod enabled that makes guardians stronger over time. I guess the stellarite devourer reached some kind of more then 100% flat damage reduction because of it, turning it invulnerable to everything.

Disabled the mod, devourer goes down.

Wow! that's a rather BS mod. I think the point of guardians is to be something you eventually come to overpower around mid-game.
