So both the Theocratic Devotion and the Devoutness religious Idea give boni to some religions.

Papal Influence for Catholics

Church Power for Protestants

Fervor for Reformed (at least Devoutness does, didn't tets Devotion so far)

But they don't give anything special for all the other Religions. I think they should. Because this way both would be really interesting choices for a more religious approach. Something to enchance the properties of the religions.

Of course it could be hard to get something similar to those alrady in. But some Ideas

- Muslims could get something like "decreased Piety decay from Monarch death"

- Buddhists could get something like "yearly Karma decay" so they would have it slighty easier to have a balanced Karma.

- The american Religions something to make Reforms easier

and so on

Another thing: Church power is pretty weak once you have your three aspects (except for strategy changes) compared to Fervor and Papal Influence. Maybe there should be a small advantage of having a high amount of it stored.

Right, Church Power doesn't really do anything and just kinda sits there, waiting to be used. It's like the expect you to be constantly changing or Church Aspects or something. Maybe instead our level of Church Power give give some bonuses to the aspects, like I noticed how most of the bonuses are pretty small. Maybe, when an aspect is first enacted, the effect is low or 0. As Church Power accumulates above 100 the bonus reaches full effect. If it gets above 100 and up to 200, it gets some additional strength.

Say, for the "Holy Sacraments" Aspect, which gives currently 2.5% Discipline. When it is first enacted and Church Power is 0, the bonus is nil. However when Church power gets up to 100, the bonus will have gradually increased to 2.5%. When Church Power finally reaches 200, the bonus will be a full 5.0%. This will allow Protestant nations to greatly stand up to larger Catholic states and Reformed Fervor. This would mean decreasing the generation of Church Power, perhaps decreasing the effect of Monarch Power.

In 1.13, Reformed war focus will be nerfed to 10% morale.
10% morale is roughly equivalent to 5% morale + 2.5% discipline which are two protestant aspects out of three and you can take a third one on top of that. Also, Protestant's inherent bonuses are better than Reformed's. Protestant just doesn't need another buff.

I was just trying to think of ways to make Church Power and Aspects more useful. So far they're pretty "meh".
They will be outright superior to Reformed fervor in 1.13 and are already pretty good now. That's definitely not "meh".

Just save up church power for when you achieve some strategic goal and want to adjust your playstyle accordingly. There's no need to use it all the time and there's nothing wrong with having the same aspects for decades.
