Hi, I have a question in case someone figured it out. When you chose the privilege you get -5% development cost on provinces with a temple. But it also says that you dont "lose" crown lands share when developing provinces... I guess the statement is just wrong english for its meaning?
1. when you develop provinces it increases the amount of crown lands, not reduce them... so does this means that when you develop using this privilege there will be no additions to your crown land shares?
2. Alternatively it might mean that there is no reduction of clerical land shares when you develop, and the addition of crownlands (if any) is taken from the other factions?

Thanks in advance for the help

when it says "does not lose crownland from developing provinces", it's referring to the clergy estate, not you.

so it's your option 2. when you develop, your crownland will grow at the expense of other estates, but not the clergy.
