Those late BPs are getting somewhat common. In late 1942 Germany runs out of manpower. In late 1943 soviet union runs out of manpower. In 1944 the USA often invade Germany via Italy. If this fail, then sovietunion crumbles in 1945. A few years later nukes are falling from the sky.

Using this savegame i did 10 testruns with set 69 and then further 10 testruns with set 70. In set 69 the balance seems to have been slightly in favour of Germany, in set 70 it seems to have been slightly in favour of Soviet Union.

First of all, many thanks for your incredible work! It probably takes a lot of effort to maintain the project for so long. What are the currently expected release dates for the final version of patch 1.12? I wanted to start working on a new mod and do it on the final version of the patch. Perhaps you have some expectations? Summer, this year, next year?
 
How is this still not right? 18 heavy subs, all on Interdiction or combat patrol, both day/night. All 27 were first set on province only but could not engage either. Then when it appeared the British Navy slipped away, they were dispersed, but the Luftwaffe reaqcuired - no joy from the subs. 1.12, set 71. This is going on still?!?

If your air force engages the enemy navy first, your own navy is unable to engage.

This is why Commander666 quit the game.

I can't remember but there may be other possible channel/port traps due to port exits into blocked seazones. AFAIR in CORE we also had Gibraltar affected with a large british fleet trapped there after losing the province.

Gibraltar is safe. And so is Copenhagen.

Luckily there are not that many straits, that can be closed by taking a land province.
 
Similar like Finland that builds forts in Karelia I would recommend at least level 2 forts for Romania in Beltsy and Chișinău. In some cases, border wars can starts up or soviet make a return so those provinces needs to be strengthen.
