other useful console for ai is
viewtech -shows the current top 5 research being done
nofog -shows everything/removes fog of war
handsoff -turns off event pausing and autosaves a specific file every time it autosaves

I have run into a very strange bug with version 1.11. It seems the game now recreates the boundbox.tbl file everytime the game loads. When I am trying to implement the E3 Map into AOD this has the unfortunate sideeffect that most map icons are not displyed properly. Any ideas? The new E3 map works just fine in 1.10.

No despite the new rendering agent that cannot be it. The old E3 Map loads fine. The new version loads also but icons and sprites only show at the highest zoom level, i.e Lightmap 4. There are some on lightmap 3, even less on lightmap 2 and almost none at lightmap level 1. Bizarre. Anyone has any ideas? I cannot find a solution to this. One thing I do know is that for some reason the latest Beta always regenerates the boundbox.tbl, which would explain why the icons and sprites do not show up properly. The map loads fine In Darkest Hour and in AOD 1.10. Really would appreciate some ideas.

A major bug exists with amphibious landings. After a beach is won, and first occupied, as TPs are almost landing there, a tiny enemy fleet can show up in the stack, confronted by substantial friendly navy support, and the rebasing/transporting/moving is completely interrupted -- stopped cold, even though the TPs were almost there. No rebasing/sea transporting/moving fixes it. A constant "Groundhog Day" movie scene of TPs arrows almost to the beach, then a few enemy ships show up, and presto - all TPs are magically back in the center of the sea province! The enemy gets chased off (?), & over & over we go, forever. No inferior fleet, constantly chased off, should be able to thwart an amphib landing like that.

Still no closer to a solution but I have narrowed it down. It must be a problem with the province.csv file. Whenever I use the old E3 province file with new map, icons are displayed properly, but of course map Ids are completely scrambled. Whenever I attempt to copy paste the new Ids into the old province file something seems to go wrong, and icons don't show up anymore. I assumed it might be excel that somehow garbled the file, as can easily happen, but it also happens with OpenOffice. Any ideas? I am getting kind of frustrated.

I would really appreciate some feedback. It appears I was wrong about the map working with the older province.csv file. There are some problems displaying icons there too. It appears that once you scroll the map icons are appearing and disappearing. So odd. I have now tried every avenue I can think of. It would be such a shame to have to move my mod to Darkest Hour. But if I cannot implement it in Aod 1.11, I'll have too.

What i do know is that during the development of 1.11 Province.csv did not receive any changes critical for it being parsed properly.

So at this point i have to speculate that the problem is related to some hard coded changes that i am not aware of or some softcoded changes of your mod that i am not aware of. In both cases i am far from being an expert.

I use notepad++ to view and edit \db\Province.csv. I suppose that excel or any other progamm designed to handle tables might be more comfortable. Do you notice any remarkable changes between the file used in vanilla 1.11 and your mod?

Regarding hardcoded changes Zsar1 and Lennartos are the ones who would know them. Zsar1 is closer to the modding aspects, but has not been active in this forum since february.

Thanks for your reply. Aside from the larger file size because of the larger number of provinces; i can see no changes that would cause the program to not read the csv properly. I'll wait for the final version of 1.11 or an answer from Zsar1 or Lennartos.
