say it isn't so: romania 1936 has the flag with the emblem that the communists added after 1948 in the middle... nooooooooooooo....
quick question regarding flags and such: why not implement the same thing as in vicky where u could have the flag changed by events?? ... or even the name (the soviet union turning back into the russian empire if the right party comes to power, romania becoming the people's republis of romania, then the socialist republic of romania - if the game would go that far in time, which i doubt)

Map issues aside (I won't bring it up again, I swear ;) ), I have a question regarding the reserve divisions.

How much time does it take for the mobilisation of a division to take place, and is it influenced by being in a state of war and/or laws? I know that reserve divisions stil have to be reinforced afterwards, but I am talking about the initial delay from ordering mobilisation of reserve division to that division showing up on the map.

If you can tell me what our balance tests will show I'll tell you how long it will take.

The division IS already on the map before mobilisation. It's a division with a cap on its strength, then the cap is removed when mobilising and the division reinforces.

Hm... is this true?
As I understood the system, reserve divisions are in some kind of pool off map until the mobilisation. I could be mistaken.

Just few questions:
1) what kinds of division we can produce as reserve? I mean: can we produce demobilized armored/mec/mont/par divisions or is it limited to 'non-specialised' units like inf/mil/gar?
2)there will ever be a version for Mac?

PS great, great game, and brilliant DD, that's really good news!

Well... the mobilization system is not same with "Victoria". In victoria, several time passed, then full strength division was able to deploy. In contrast on HoI3,
there is already deployed but not full strengthened. Umm..... it is brilliant.

In other word, we can produce and deploy a reserve division but has not full strength at peace time and strenthened at war time while we can produce and deploy a normal division that has full strength and not need mobilization (but adjusted by law for keep strength because all member of force leave when time reached) but expensive cost and upkeep. Am I understand correctly?

When a war is declared, the strengh limit of reserve divisions is removed and the soldiers necessary for completing the division is taken in the MP pool.

Small detail, the strength limit isn't removed when war is declared but by changing the mobilization laws (which is easier during war) :)

Thanks a lot. I understand it clearly. I wonder mobilization is for reserve division to lift limitation of reserve division.

Thank you~. I understand. Mobilization is for reserve division which has limitation of strength but easily modified during war time according to the law of mobilization. Brilliant system at all. Thanks for dev team.

Good update!

At first glance the method of solving the problem with unrealistic peace time army sizes seam a tad odd but will probably be a good working solution.

*The hand* picture, does it means how many manpower are in brigade?

The hand represents strength, manpower is the third from the right in the list (left of the clock for time) :)

Strength is used for determining the minimum amount of brigades in a division for one, a frontline brigade has 3000 strength, a support brigade 1000. The minimum strength will be 2000 or 3000, so you can't build divisions with only an artillery brigade for example.
