I don't recall exactly. When did the SS Aufk.Abt.12 capture that Firefly specificly?
I think it was recounted in Kurt Meyer's memory, "Grenadier."

I wonder... Can we set more time than 30min? Does it mean that phase 3 can last for 30min or more?
Will there be another mode/setting that will focus on domination. For example: team needs to have 75% of the map for 5 min to win.
In Hubert Meyer's(Who was the Ia of Kurt Meyer) divisional history, I can't find any clue about the actual usage of the Firefly.I don't recall exactly.

Yes.I am curious if phase A and B units can be purchased in phase C as well.
I check the memo's Invasion chapter for SS-Aufk.Abt.12 and Firefly, no results.I don't recall exactly.

I said I think to recall it was in K. Meyer's Grenadier. It might be in one of Heimdall collection's numerous books instead.I check the memo's Invasion chapter for SS-Aufk.Abt.12 and Firefly, no results. So I think the Firefly should be removed from 12SS TO&E in game,or at least it should be put in other German units which was confirmed to have a Beute Firefly or put it in the division's Phase B/C force pool.
After a more through research,I have found more interesting results.I said I think to recall it was in K. Meyer's Grenadier. It might be in one of Heimdall collection's numerous books instead.
12. SS-Panzer, being the one division closest to the standard 1944 Panzerdivision TO&E, was the first one selected and modeled for our tests. So the research about it are over a year old, but the Firefly wasn't invented from thin air.
So, no: it stays with 12. SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung.
Because it really matters when it comes to historical accuracy and Eugen promised to bring the true historical face of the campaign to players.I'm just doing my job to help to correct some errors, for my own future game experience's sake.I dont get why you're making such a big deal about it

As a historian, I get it. Giving divisions equipment that they did not have can put a little bit of a downer on the historical immersion (though speaking in a strictly positivist sense the sources you quoted do not definitively say the Germans did not capture a firefly) It is easy to think that we can know where every single bullet landed in World War Two given that it is one of the most well-documented events in history, however, there is plenty of room for ambiguity. For instance, did the Maus actually see combat on the Eastern front or was it wrecked by the Soviets before it could see action? We will never know. (Enter shameless plug for MAUS DLC).
However, as a gamer, isn't this all a big "what if" scenario? If I wanted to exactly recreate the Normandy invasion, I would watch a movie or read a book. If I am to play this game as the Germans, I am not going to intentionally lose just because that the Germans really lost. That would make for a very boring experience. I would play to win and have fun. If there was a unit I did not want to use, I simply would not use it.
I am not going to quibble over which exact variant of Sherman the Germans may or may not have captured anymore than I will about the exact camo patterns on the Panthers. Games are ultimately about possibility to varying degrees. Some take extreme liberties like "what if aliens invaded Cold War Russia?", others are much more modest in scope by simply asking "Can someone win while playing the Germans at Normandy?" If the answer to the latter question is anything but "no", you are no longer historically accurate.
