As for the 6th Airborne Division, players can deploy elite para units, airborne light tanks, and marine artillery starting from phase A because they were the first to land on the night of 5th to 6th June, but they have to wait until phase B and C to deploy in number and get access to their heavier equipment arriving with later airlift or from the beaches.

The biggest flaw with the wargame series (which I played 1000+ hours easy) was the enormous arty party.

so yea Eugen bring on some more arty party with the introduction of naval artillery.... and tons of other mortar /artillery units.!

Cluster and MLRS arty was cancer in wargame, dont think that we will see something like that in Steel Division, in same cancerous numbers.

One single (captured) Firefly, a medium tank, is available in Phase A if you play the 12. SS-Panzer: although very powerful, it can be outmaneuvered & overrun by lighter units!

You guys should mention that there are 18 total divisions instead of just the 4 divisions in the dev blog though, in case people weren't keeping up with all the stuff.

As time goes by you will have to secure the line, waiting for reinforcement, as well as regularly supply your units with ammunition.
On one hand I am a fan of logistics, but on another I still remember how awful the manual resupply was in "Men of War" series, because of a total lack of some sort of automated ammo-refill system. How this aspect will look like in SD:N44?

Men of War Assault Squad 2 finally added auto-resupply, thank god.

Gotta say, I didn't like the phase idea at first, but I'm pretty much convinced now that it'll improve things. Keep it up.
Yeah it is kinda a smart way around not needing to build bases or research upgrades. Teching up like in CoH. We will still have phases where infantry will clash etc. and then gradually advance. Not full blown KT on Pershing action.

The income between divisions seems to be imbalanced overall... which is fine, but I'm curious how it is balanced (Availability? Points?...)?

Supply will be similar like in Wargame, with the exception of fuel and "manpower". You only provide supplies as ammunition.

Thanks for the DevBlog, but give us something more beefed up like all Divisions :)
