The stuttering problem has nothing to do with GPU drivers. We have two pcs in our household, one with an Nvidia gpu and one with an AMD. On both of them the game stutters like crazy since the latest update.
I reverted to version 1.9.1 on my pc just for testing purposes and the stuttering is gone. Go figure.
It's the game.

...It includes a bunch of good stuff, but we'd love your help breaking it in creative and spectacular ways so we can make sure the final live version is the best it can be. New checksum is 8b3a.

As an extra incentive to try out our test build, we're offering you first access to the "Legion" set of 6 brand new empire emblems:...

Great stuff, but pls, pls add more colors and "flags" also.

Its a PR anwser. Its not our pc's fault. Its a faulty part in their gamecode. I think they know (and say) whats the problem and working on that. Just wait a few days.

Any eta on a fix for custom species classes? Currently the job triggers looks at the base games species classes rather than the species archetypes of biological or synthetic meaning any custom species class mod needs to override the file to prevent suffering a production malus and are Incompatible with each other.

I don't mean to be overly pushy but the the whole reason archetypes where introduced after sytheic dawn came out was to avoid this problem.

Thanks for the updates.

One UI feature I'd love to see added is a page in the expansion planner for branch offices (show planets available and the cost etc in one handy place).

I'd also love to see some was to speed up pop demotion (unless there are some and I just missed it).

Hello!

My wife (Stellaris without DLC's GOG Version 2.2.2 8b3a) and I (Stellaris with all DLC's Steam Test_Version 2.2.2 8b3a) have since this update synchron failures. What can we do? We love this new features witch came with megacorps. But after we press the forward button to get the ingame time runnig, we get a sychron failure.

With the patch before, all was ok.

* Starting on Earth as Life-Seeded now properly gives you a 25 size planet with rare deposits
Also it makes your two guaranteed planets (one in Sirius, other in ALpha Centauri) be Gaia. It can't be an intended behavior given that non-sol start generates guaranteed planets properly (they don't end up being gaias).

* Made tweaks to Galactic Market that should prevent an infinite profits exploit from flooding the market, then rebuying, you shameless tophat-wearing capitalist exploiters, you
It wasn't fixed (in fact it is easier to perform in beta patch than in 2.2.0). Steps to recreate: Choose any empire with 13k energy (if you don't have one, start a new game and give yourself some energy through a console). Buy 10k minerals (it costs 13000 energy to do so). After the transaction, the buy price increases to 3.9 and sell price to 2.1. Sell 10k minerals to get 21000 energy which changes the prices back. Repeat
(The prices written above come from internal market, it will be different when using galactic market but you will still earn profit via exploit, althout smaller one)

I tried hosting a game on the Beta Branch and own all the DLC. It says M E G A C O R P is enabled however, a friend who does not own any of the DLC could not use any of the features. This includes Megacorp, Gestalt Consciousness authorities, and Apocalypse / Utopia civics.

Is it just me or the new planet habitability system means that you absolutely should colonize everything in sight as soon as possible? Sure you need some more food and amenities to support poor quality planets but it just cannot match the raw resources you get from having more planets and more pops right now. The AI seems to not realize that and they absolutely refuse to colonize 40% habitability planets and so they get so far behind by midgame. Playing on Admiral with 6 advanced starts AI and 20 total normal AI empires and I am the strongest economy by 2310, despite not having that much space. I have 7 planets and most AI satisfy themselves with just 3-4.

Repugnant and Charismatic appear to have no effect whatsoever on amenities production.

Looking through game files, there are a couple (but not all) amenities-producing jobs where those traits are not checked for, which is weird. For example, Executive and Science Director. However I tried to play a technocracy with a repugnant species and neither my science director (with incorrect job description in the game file) nor my clerks or administrator (with what I thought was a correct description) had their amenitiesproduction affected.

Why would they nerf Drone Campaigns and Robot Campaigns effects from +20% to +10%?

Why just why?Why the hate?
Why kick it when its done? Robotic and non driven assimilator Machine Empires are very underpowered because alot of reasons (slow base growth, lack of powerful trade ressources etc.)

The meger buffs to Synthethic Ascension and the reduced minerals cost for assembling do very little.
Synthethic Ascension formost needs that in some way farms are replaced with powerplants.

Performance optimization is one of the most indirect and speculative forms of software development. I want to assure you it is absolutely a priority for us and as soon as we have something usable, it'll be in your hands with minimum delay. We're investigating a possible lead relating to the latest Nvidia drivers that might be affecting all Paradox games, not just us. Stand by, appreciate your patience.

Jamor, I'd like to just let you know that the stuttering is very visibly present from literally day 1 of a new game. If you literally just start a new game, go to the galaxy map and pan the camera around and then unpause and go to fastest speed, you can see how bad it's stuttering. There should be absolutely no valid reason for it when the galaxy is effectively unpopulated and nothing is happening yet. Something is very badly wrong.
