What speed you guys usually play at?
I usually set to Fastest speed. Only during battle would I set to Slow or Slowest.

Considering that I open Tech screen a lot, I much prefer using hotkey instead on using my mouse to open it every time research complete.

I only play on Fastest setting. I don't have the patience for anything less. I do pause occasionally though. Usually when I get 3+ popups all at once.

Algorithm for calculating the range of collection of trade value is incorrect. It is not going to some systems already at a distance of two.

It usually means that a mod has changed some files in the game that haven't been changed back when you disable the mod. I find that either deleting the mods folder or renaming it to something the game can't path to, then validating the install, works well.

Found a serious bug in the latest Stellaris version (don't know if this reported in earlier versions). There occurs a dramatic economic downturn on all the unit currencies (in my case I went from positive 10s on everything to negative 100s on most of them) when you get a flotilla of refugee popups in which your only choice is to accept them. Their incoming blows out your economy quickly when you get (in my case I got over 20 refugee ships).

Why is there no option to refuse the refugees? There is only the one option to take them (given your civic traits).

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended feature. But in my latest game, I defeated the Prethoryn Scourge vanguard before the main force arrived, and it ended the entire crisis. This wasn't a problem before as the main force arrived mere days after the vanguard itself, before any fleets could react. I still got the "main force arrives" event popup, but no Scourge actually spawned.

having the same problem, anyone have any idea? tried validating and reinstalling

I ended up deleting then remaking my custom empires which obviously fixed it. Editing your empire in game doesn't fix it though because that was the first thing I tried.

It might be possible that the text file is confusing the Ruler for a Ruler stratus pop... But I'm just taking a random guess there.

Hmm... strange. I didn't get any pop up message about tutorial.

BTW, what do you think about they removing hotkey for Technology?

Pretty upsetting at first but I understand the need for it. I really wish they would allow for customization of the top ribbon, such as in Anno 2070. It wouldn't be as useful as it is in that game, but it would still be pretty awesome.

Bummer none of the issues have been addressed yet.

Too bad they give hotkeys to useless things like Edith & Policies.
Before 2.2 Edith & Policies shared F6 as hotkey, but now they separate those two and gave they hotkeys.
Seriously, how often do you open those two that you need hotkey? Very rare.

I use it a lot more often now that I can spend strategic resources on edicts.

The vast majority of edicts either use energy, food (for hive minds) or strategic resources. Have a look at them; some are pretty damn useful.
I did. But most of Ediths that didn't require Influence or Energy are mostly useless for me. Also I haven't try Hive Mind yet.
I can't touch Influence much because I need it to expand my border, while Energy always in short.

Try the rare crystals one that gives +1 sensor range. I can never have enough sensor range and you'll see how useful it is once you start using it.

No more science ship deaths. No more fleets sneaking up on you. No more having to wait for your science ship the enter a system to tell if it has habitable planets.

If I can I'll try to beeline the rare crystals techs as soon as possible just for this.

Interesting. I'll might try that one. Thanks.
Thought for me Science Ships are acceptable expendable. And also I like surprises.
