Figured I'd drop my concerns about how the new AI behavior towards borders will make it rather hard to see the racket empire. I've noticed before 2.3 the AI was pretty quick to fully claim all their worlds if given the chance. So one of the few ways to give them a chance in any moderately populated galaxy was to wall off their systems from other empires. Occasionally, I'll see them spawn in a spot where various spaceborne aliens (aka all the non-normal empires) result in their system being open to surveys, but not claimable.

Has anyone else found precursors not work? I have done 4 games since 2.3 came out, and every time I get first league, and always stops finding clues after 2nd artefact. This occuring for anyone else?

Found the Yuth but only four artefacts... all clustered in a very small part of the galaxy and once that part was surveyed I never found any more - had to wait for the consolation prize events triggering after 2250 :/

/home/.../.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Stellaris/stellaris: error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
You might want to verify you local game files and your system, libatomic is supposed to be loaded from your system.

Here the stellaris binary is telling you that libatomic isn't 64 bits, which is accurate for the library in the same folder as the binary, however it shouldn't be loaded by it at all. You can check the shared object dependency of the binary through ldd stellaris.

Mine looks like this:
Code:
$ ldd stellaris
    linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffd08791000)

I completely removed everything, the file is getting re-installed by Steam.

I don't have a libatomic anywhere else on my system and I guess that is why Stellaris tries to use it. I will try to install it system-wide. But in the end, the devs need to fix the installation, since what Steam installs remains incorrect.

Yeah thanks that helped. Two observations:
(1) libatomic is always put into the game folder, even if it exists on the system (that could make sense anyway)
(2) the libatomic put there by Steam is of wrong architecture @Jamor

You can install the lib with apt install libatomic1

Are you guys aware of the bug that causes large armies to inexplicably die off to inferior numbers of troops? I'm talking having 80 gene warriors and losing all but six of them to only two defense armies. During a ground invasion the invader will suddenly start gaining power, into the hundreds of thousands, then it will flip and the defender will start gaining power and then crush the invaders. Then, when only a few invaders are left, they will suddenly be invincible, gaining health faster than they can be destroyed.

I'd submit a bug report, but I assume one has already been submitted due to how common the bug seems in my own (unmodded) games. If not, I will be happy to submit one!

Working right now, but I laughed when I saw the Defense Platform glitch...

"We're reinforcing our borders, and our Enemy is gonna pay for it!"

Any news on finally buffing the Awoken population (the ones you get from keeping the brain data and then making them Synthethic bodies) or are they still going to remain in the dumpster?

Just a quick question before I fill a bug report: Hunting for the "Raiders of the Lost Galatron" achievement, I came quite far, obtaining the Galatron, creating and releasing a vassal, losing a war and the Galatron to them, but now ten years later I lack something crucial: A CB to take the Galatron back. I am on the beta patch and the only special thing to mention is that I am playing a machine empire. Is the "Take Galatron" CB restricted to certain empires, buggy, or am I missing anything? Thanks for any wisdom you might have.
