You forgot to add the Legion Emblems from the beta-branch. Now the logos of all the empires that spawned with them during a game I created on the beta-branch are bugged out and black.

We're definitely not done with 2.2: we intend to keep the stellaris_test beta branch, and update it with another batch of new fixes before we sign off for a short break over the holidays. Expect that to go out soon (tm). This rolling beta will continue to be updated with new packages of fixes as we get them in the new year. This is the version you need to be on if you want to do multiplayer games with friends on the GOG/Paradox Launcher versions of the game.

Just for clarification, that is the beta in which you guys have incorporated some fixes to the lagging with gateways and the like, correct?

Loaded my 2.2.1 game and got 71 unemployed pops out of the blue. So yeah, I'm going to say that's not save-game compatible...

(Due to tier 3 buildings now only providing 8 jobs instead of 10.)

Just wondering if a planet is supposed to lose all Planetary Features when terraformed into a Hive World? Becuse if so, then perhaps the tooltip should say that somewhere, for instance, on the tooltip for the Ascension Perk.
Also, is it correct to assume that the Planetary Prospecting decision from finishing Adaptability is supposed to be able to be used on a Hive World? Becuse currently, it's not, and the game does not inform you of this in anyway. Also it seems kind of wierd that two unique features (not sure if Planetary Prospecting is unique) for Hive Minds are mutually exclusive.

This is good example of what is problematic with games that are constantly updated post launch. There is never time to make completely bug free version, and lot of the time half the mods are out of date.

Playing coop campaign, especially with friends, is quite annoying. Ofc you can play older version as well - with all the bugs or issues not fixed or with some mods not working because they are now updated for newer version while other mods are not.

And i can't even learn the game well enough to know if there are bugs or not when it constantly gets updates. I had no idea that 2.2 was so buggy, apparently some even call it broken.

EDIT: also no idea how good balance is. There are too many variables for me to say if something is just something i did wrong or bug or bad balance or who knows what.
Games that are not updated with DLC post launch also never become bug free, they become abandoned.

The tooltip for "category_biology_research_speed_mult = 0.20" is still broken when looking at Devouring Swarms just showing "+20%" on it.

I'm not sure if the bonus gets applied or not since it's hard to track down a specific research speed bonus but the missing tooltip is easily verifiable.

Does anyone still get the -20% authoritarian faction opinion penalty after getting their first robot? The patch notes say it's fixed but there's still a problem.

Is this not available on GOG? GOG apparently always has the beta version as their main version, and that's fine since you can freely go back, but it means that when the main (Steam) branch is updated with something other than exactly the same build as the last beta, then GOG users have no way of getting it until the new beta is out. Which I guess is fine, as the next beta will be out soon anyway and I'm still in the middle of a Machine Empire game to be able to play without the trade route issue, but I just want to confirm that this is the case and not that there's something wrong with what I'm seeing on GOG.

To everyone still trying to get gaia terraforming to not ruin a planet there is a temporary solution via the console. If you select a planet and enter the command "effect reset_planet" without quotes, the planet will be rerolled as if it had spawned naturally. Please be aware that this can drastically alter how many of each district is available on a planet and you probably won't get the planet exactly like it was before even after resetting the planet multiple times, and may destroy pre-existing districts if the cap for said district falls below what you have built; however, the planet will have all of its district slots again. I know it's not a perfect solution, but it works in the mean time.

It is technically possible to do this in an ironman game, but that requires editing the save file and I don't know if posting how to do that breaks a forum rule somewhere, so you'll just have to google it :p

Hrm... are top tier factories/forges meant to be giving 8 jobs now instead of 10? - I logged in to find I had billions of very angry unemployed specialists and no easy fix for their situation. Mid-tier fabs/forges are still giving 5 jobs and top tier labs still give 10.

I don't see that change in the notes.
