was the federation fleet capacity fixed, me and two friends were contributing (520, 270, 270) towards fleet cap of federation, but it was still 500, was the naval cap removed, or will we be getting the excess fleet cap back?
Federation fleet Command limit is 500. Period. I'm not sure if you can build more than 1 federation fleet, but if you can't, you do not currently get any fleet cap back.

Keep doing your thing. This forum, like most forums really, really likes their Hivemind civics, and often the hivemind opinion can be completely irrational. It's important to not let yourself get stifled by mob mentality.

That said, people are also fully in the right to tell you that your opinions suck - well, unless the mods suddenly take offense to it, which also happens too often here.


That's exactly how this works actually. You are not only part of the aforementioned hivemind, you are trying to enforce it and silence dissent. Which makes you the worst poster in this thread by a mile.

It did add something - it lets the developers know that a customer is not happy with the direction of their product. Even if he doesn't go into detail, it's still enough.

This game needs a lot more voices like that, so the developers actually start fixing the rampant bugs and balance issues in the game at a more reasonable pace.

What you're saying is "don't complain about a broken game if there are people who actually enjoy it". Which is how things never get fixed.

As a person who is generally happy with this game, and the direction it's headed, I completely agree that dude should be allowed to say he's not happy.

The only thing to leave out is flaming, insults... And FTL talk, since there's a thread for that :p

To decrease the discrepancy between those who pick the perk and those who don't? So it's not a must pick for those who want to build megastructures..
ANY increase in speed of megastructures is a must pick for anyone planning to build them due to how insanely slow they currently are and the artificial cap of 1 at a time. Particularly after 2.0 removed 1 of the only 2 other ways to speed them up. This perk was a must pick before, and it's a must pick now. It's just weaker for everyone.

And that's not mentioning that it's the only way to get Mega-structures unless you stumble on a ruined/whole one in-game so it's almost positioned as a must-have by design as it's part of the "tree" you go up to get mega-structures in a common game.

So no - that's not a reason.

Whilst I love the patches, the insane nerfs to fleet capacity introduced in 2.0 and Megastructures in 2.0.4 makes someone using a laptop like me absolutely hate this game. I have to use mods to get a reasonable pace in this game whilst having days go by slowly. Whilst this issue is only for me personally, the fact that others are complaining to makes my complaints ever the more valid. However, it's also important to note that this is the direction Stellaris is going. And I want it to go in a direction, since the availability of mods can always fix the issues I have. Any direction means more content, and I am more than willing to buy DLC to support this game in addition to getting more content.

In my games (at this time, no mods), when I can finally start building megastructures, I have won or nearly won.
Building the megastructures is for flavor only. But given the pace, it's really a nerve tester.
Still not a fan of the only 1 megastructure at a time. You can field fleets of huge ships like battleships and titans, but you can't build more than
1 megastructure. If you would limit ringworlds, I could understand, but not being able to build a science nexus and a sentry array? Why not?
I can understand it's hard to balance but as I said, in my games they are never the deciding factor.

All localizations, except English, are lacking at the moment, it is the same as in the original 2.0.2 patch.

In addition to this I have found that some assets are lacking too, for example transports for Humanoids awaken empires. I was seeing these 3D xyz placeholders cages one time in my game play and was as... "what is this?".

For the love of god why are random enemy fleets spawning in systems I've already taken? What kind of backward nonsense is this? I'm systematically moving across an empire to keep them from reclaiming star bases AND THEY ARE SPAWNING BEHIND ME!!!!! Never seen this before. What the f is going on dude
