Hi!
Im playing as Rome and i could not grant any triumph yet to any of My consuls. I have won Many wars againts sammnites, estruscan, apulians, lucanians, but the tooltip Say they have to be legate or governor. Are not My consuls governors of the Main province?
How do i grant a triumph no then?
Does this just mean the events fire upon more reliable and regular intervals? Or are there more fixes involved? Currently, Mithridates' Pontus isn't quite functional (Primary culture is Cappadocian not Pontic like irl, primary culture is stuck at freemen rights, etc.) and I'm curious if those fixes are part of this patch, or are coming in future updates.Made Mithridates events more reliable
yes did the great wonder thing yesterday. but make sure every mod is deactivated. No dev has said anything about it yet, but even the music mods give you the message "mods will disable achievments"Are achievements working in 2.0 & 2.0.1? Didn't get one for surviving a civil war.

Caesar didn't wage war on Gaul while he was consul. He did that when he was governor of neighbouring provinces (cisalpine gaul and transalpine gaul) that were already under roman rule. So that particular example does in fact the opposite.EDIT: By the way, I think the example of Roman Consuls leading their legions is a better example of where rulers led professional armies, such as Caesar leading his legions in his conquest of Gaul while he was Consul, and with that example I definitely would agree with your point because those were armies made up of life-long soldiers and it was the ruler leading them.
I'm not using any mods. Started playing on 2.0, then continued playing on 2.0.1 and that's when the achievement failed to trigger. Could be save game compatibility issue.yes did the great wonder thing yesterday. but make sure every mod is deactivated. Yes and I hope to see two Spartan kings.. me anf a friend made a mod for this but it would be awesome to habe it officially made by ParadoxCaesar didn't wage war on Gaul while he was consul. He did that when he was governor of neighbouring provinces (cisalpine gaul and transalpine gaul) that were already under roman rule. So that particular example does in fact the opposite.
Still, the point stands. Consuls led legions, and the civil war that followed the example above is proof of this (Caesar and Pompey).
There are even examples that were not said here, like the spartan kings
Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure I understand the logic of the devs here, though I'd be interested to hear their reasoning, as they do seem in other respects to be quite attentive to historical accuracy. The age of kings commanding their armies was in full swing during this era, and I would argue that the army Seleukos marched from Mesopotamia with to fight at the battle of Ipsus was what we have as Legions in the game. Similar for the opposing force of Antigonids. I'd rather not have it be an exception at all, and rather just be something that any ruler is able to do.
Well there's the bug where if you start as Pontus and let the mithridates event play out, your primary culture (cappadocian) will become non-integrated when you allow Mithridates to take control, meaning that you lose all levies and that's basically game over.Pontus was Cappadocian throughout the game. It became Greek much leter.
Wait, is that why my Kush levies are all archers? I'm playing my first Imperator game as well (on Mac) and just thought I was misunderstanding something about the levy system.I also encountered the issue of levies being all of the same type; it rather confused me that Aremorican levies consisted of 100% light cavalry, despite the culture tooltip saying otherwise and the traditions boosting archers and infantry. I thought it'd be a bug, but I didn't imagine it to be a troublesome Linux-only one.
Anyhow: I added some data to an existing bug report, but I'm not sure what is relevant here. Is there anything in particular you would like to know about, or files/logs you would like to have? (There's already a save file in the report.)
Yep, same here!Still crashing at the end of the year
No mods, tried the workarounds in the sticky posts. No luck

Yeah, nice and all...but since this patch, the game gets stuck at the loading screen. Great Patch!Hi all, Jamor here. We've been very pleased with the positive reception 2.0 Marius and Heirs of Alexander has gotten, and greatly appreciate your support and feedback. I'm also happy to be able to present to you the 2.0.1 patch right now, which is the result of fixes and tweaks we were able to get after the code freeze for 2.0. It features some nice free bonus content for all players which we hope you'll like. Details under the cut.

I can now report that the 2.0.1 version and Heirs of Alexander DLC are available on GOG. Thanks to the help of our good colleagues there we were able to resolve the issue blocking launch. Thanks to all our GOG players for your patience while we got that dealt with.
2.0.1 should be compatible with prior version 2.0 saves, but in case you have any problems, you can always roll back your version via right click on Imperator in library -> properties -> betas -> choose the desired version.
We're glad to get this improved version in your hands in time for the weekend. Give it a spin and let us know your feedback, which is, as ever, crucial to our continuing development of the game. Have fun everyone.
