I agree that this is way too unbalanced in terms of crisis weights. And I use to grumble about never seeing any crisis other than the unbidden (I've still yet to see the scourge, nor the old AI crisis).

I think crisis criteria should be a YES/NO check system rather than increasing weights. At each pulse, if the criteria for a crisis is met, it's added to the RNG roll with an equal chance to all the other crises.
Scourge: X number of years have passed
Unbidden: a young empire has (Psi) Jump Drives
Contingency: there is a machine empire or a young empire with synths.

Also, I agree that there should be an option (check box next to the crisis start slider) for allowing multiple crises, including having specific interaction between the different crises factions.

Developers, please return crisis time to 150 years as before.

200 years is simply too late and requires to wait 50 years after I already won the game just to see the crisis.

I am bothered to wait 200 years for the crisis ,,, generally at 150 I already have the map won and I have to wait 50 more years to give these invaders hard, bad, bad ... They could leave it as is but also make some event I brought them before, or something like that ...

Are Driven Assimilators supposed to get access to the Epigenetic Triggers tech? I have a planet with some Pre-Sapients on it with m Driven Assimilator machines and they're just chilling.

they're just animals, not much distinctiveness. can you change your pre-sentient policy?

Actually, the unique presapient traits are a lot of extremely useful biological distinctiveness that I'd love to adapt to service ours n_n

Assimilators get access to all the other genetic techs so I'm also surprised they can't get the uplifting one.

Would be nice if when a fleet is orbiting a planet (bombardment, armies in orbit, whatever) and engages with an enemy, when the battle is over for it to return to orbit instead of just hanging in space.
