I agree, that it looks like ledger/statistics icon.

What I find strange, is that nowhere in the UI can we see numbers for supply and fuel stockpile.

It looks more like a general making notes, so toggle to show battle plans is my guess.

There is a separate logistics map mode I believe. Next to the ground/air/naval interface buttons top right, five smaller icons. One looks like an open crate (of supplies)?

I find unlikely that Sweden develop deployable nuclear weaponries in 1936 with their small industrial basis and lack of essential resources.
If that's the case I want a Nazi moon colonization program too.

Can we have the nuke as a counter instead of a blinding explosion, for sack of clarity?

Johan provided weekly DDs for HOI3 vanilla. But podcat and DR provided weekly DDs for TFH:

They did 9 normal DDs and a video diary in two months.

It is worrying that they are unable to just provide some basic information about diplomacy, logistics, combat, paras, amphibious landings, building specialist forces, air aces, forts, digging in, Div planner with different battalions, radar, elite units, river crossings, intelligence, building ships... A couple of screenshots and a brief description.

Not asking much, when they have pointed out they are not as small a company as they were when HOI3 was released. They should employ someone who's job is to do things like DDs if the project lead is too busy to do it. And as this is a "new" game with an aim to appeal to a wider market, there is nothing wrong with covering features which are similar or even identical to HOI3. It's SIX years since HOI3 was being developed and Johan was writing the original DDs. There is nothing wrong with repeating stuff now, that new/recent players may never have seen.

Awww, was hoping to wake up to a DD this morning, but not the end of the world - I'm a bit buggered to read through a 15+ page thread in any event (although am impressed that a thread about a not-DD has made seven pages so far!) Thanks for the nuclear blast to keep us going, it does look very slick :). Looking forward to hearing about national goals system, my guess is that it's an important part of steering the AI on a meta level (ie, remilitarise rhineland, attack China, etc; ), so possibly one of the more important systems in the game :).

The new dev diary is changing what was presented in a previous dev diary? That's a bit concerning.
How delay in release date? Because I see it mainly as they have come up with a better way/idea to do things or fixed a bug/problem in how it was working. Most all of the DDs have come with 'This is still a work in progress' warning

When he decides the game is stable enough to move forward to the next phase of development. I would imagine it would be when they reach a certain amount of stuff that is both implemented and works together reasonably well.

They have never actually given a release date only release estimations.
They really wan't the game to work because they don't plan to do HOI5 soon and its much harder to fix stuff after it is released much like uppgradning a ship in HOI.

Sweden did have plans to develop nukes but that was in 50s and 60s.
1936 probably not but you have been able to get them around 1944 with Sweden if you really focused on getting them.

That way you will notice then somebody drop an nuke because next time they may come at you.

As far as I know, that's when the game is feature-complete. When all the bits of the puzzle have been designed, created and put together. Podcat said they changed the battleplan system a few times, so this means they're still working on it.

Then you will have to see if all the different pieces work well together. And than it's bugs and polishing.

OMG it's so weird to say but I've never seen destruction look so beautiful before!! Hopefully I won't draw to much wrath but looking at the results of this graphics gives me hope that GUI and font scaling will be taken into consideration or has already been fixed. I need not remind anyone that the year is 2015 and high DPI displays abound! In any case well done and much kudos. I am going to make every gaming partner I have buy this game. MUAHAHAHAHA! Oh they are going to buy it alright. Trust me!

It depends on the bomb indeed. It seems that WWII nuclear bombs did not stereotypical mushroom cloud

It also depends on the length of time after the blast and atmospheric conditions. That photo on the left (of the Hiroshima bomb) is from somewhere around 5 minutes after the explosion while the photo on the left (of the Nagasaki bomb) is from something like ~1 minute..
