Would it be possible to move the Hohenstaufen dynasty from St. Gallen to "Fürstenberg" in the 1066 scenario?
Currently Fürstenberg is a province ruled directly by Rudolph of Rheinfelden as Duke of Swabia and the Hohenzollern are Counts of St. Gallen and vassals of Swabia.
Moving them to Fürstenberg and in turn giving Rudolph St. Gallen as direct province could have this advantages:
1) Fürstenberg is geographically closer to the Staufer historical origins near Waiblingen, see maplocation on german wiki:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiblingen
2) Friedrich von Hohenstaufen historically replaced Rudolph as Duke of Swabia after 1079 when Friedrich stayed loyal to the Emperor Heinrich IV and Rudolph did not. "Usurping" the title Duke of Swabia is far easier when one already has a province located in Swabia. In the game the provinces of Swabia proper are Fürstenberg, Ulm, Würtember and Schwaben - but not St. Gallen. So Friedrich is supposed to become Duke of Swabia soon but does rule a province outside the proper Duchy making it harder for the Staufer to achieve nearly historical success. Swapping St. Gallen for Fürstenberg would solve this.
Could Fürstenberg then be renamed "Waiblingen"? I know that the name on the map can´t be modded, but the name of the County in the scenarios can. I would like to have a Friedrich von Hohenstaufen, Count of Waiblingen, because Waiblingen was the historical battlecry during the struggele of the Hohenstaufen for control of the empire:
