In my current game the pope called for a crusade against muslim-held burgos.

I already conquered Burgos and it´s now part of my Duchy of Ferrara.

However in my piety calculation I still lose - 0,1 piety for "crusades expectations"...?

What else should I do to prevent that loss?

You can't do anything about the loss, it will go on for as long as the crusade lasts. However, you can easily make up for it by conquering a few Muslim or Pagan provinces, which it sounds like you've already done. So chances are, the crusade will end soon and you'll have a higher piety than when it started, thanks to your conquest of Burgos.

The crusade ends by event, and the event is more likely to fire if the provinces surrounding Burgos are in christian hands (doesn't have to be the ruler who controls Burgos)
