Do we have it? Is it going to be like before or did they improve it?
I know how production system has been upgraded but for sometime now I have been looking for an economy simulator like Vicky for modern period. Is this game going to have a more detailed production-economy-resource system(like they were trying to make in the cancelled cold war game) or is it going to be an extreme-military focus game?? I was thinking the depth in economy could make the game more "historically plausible" and alternative rather than railroading at the same time...

regardless, my hopes are with an awesome future vicky that combines the lessons from Eu IV and an improved combat system inspired from HOI. But it would be good start if they made economy more detailed and rush-for-resources more important considering your production situation...etc. It would also open the way for DLCs and mods that make the game go into cold war era. I literally grew up playing the almost rail-roaded WWII scenerios for years in all HOI series. A bit of change towards this would be good.

OH ALSO, it would be AMAZING if there was a strong CUSTOM GAME mode with no major events where the player can edit economy, armies, ideologies of all countries in a more Vicky-esque style.
