I like how I try to discuss balance of ethos, yet everyone adhominem me, flame, curse, call for bans and doesnt discuss what I started the theme about. Come on, why the hate and not civil discussion?

One thing the OP seems to have left out though, is rating the neutral option. Many of the government types are locked out if you choose any level of Individualism or Collectivism (and neither of those actually unlocks any government type). Whether you agree with 10-1 or not, there's a missing rating there. For example, if your build or strategy requires one of the Democracies, it really doesn't matter how much better you think Collectivism is than Individualism - your choices will be Neutral, Individualist and Fanatic Individualist.

Good point, I will make a more complete analysys, when I get my hands on the advanced governments bonuses.

They are. You can attack people inside their territory, deep behind enemy lines, deeper than warp or hyperlanes.

You don't have access to incredibly important hidden details like the random events you'll get as a result of your ethos and government types and other hidden stats and you're making judgements with more certainty than most priests? Man how high is your horse even?

Events are range, and range-dependant bonuses can be ignored, because they arent reliable. Considering that techs are range-dependant too, I'd avoid ocnsidering them true bonuses, especially, when a scientist with a right trait can get them too, even if your ethos doesnt fit.

There was my observations and theories.

Having others point out your flaws does in no way mean that you are right.

I dont why I am replying to a Troll, but here I go.
Wormholes require infrastructure to be useful, destroy that (and this will be my first priority when fighting WH nations) and the nation you are fighting is on the backfoot, they cant move fleets around until they rebuild the Station, while you as a Warp or Hyperdrive Empire can still move around becuase your drives are on your ships

Secondly, I pointed out, that I was already a head of department in a bank when I was 31, while Wiz is just a lead programmer in a small video game company. I didnt mock him, i pointed out facts, when he was flaming me. But I still respect him and consider him to be a decent programmer. He just should learn to value experienced smart people and keep open mind.

1. personally, i´d rather work for that "small video company" which has one of the best working ethos and a lot of good karma than for any bank.
